Lemony Chicken And Pasta With Herbs And Garlic

Sauteed chicken in lemony white wine sauce served over spaghetti. Delicious chicken pasta dish that derives huge flavor from herbs and spices.
Ingredients -
1 1/2 pounds Chicken Tenders
2/3 cup Sauterne Cooking Wine
1/2 cup Water
1/4 cup diced Scallions
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
1 tablespoon Dried Parsley
1 tablespoon Dried Onion Flakes
1 tablespoon chopped Garlic
2 teaspoons Lemon Zest
2 teaspoons Cornstarch
1 teaspoon Dried Basil
1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Coarse Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
1 Chicken Bouillon Cube, crushed
1/8 teaspoon Hot Pepper Flakes
12 ounces Uncooked Spaghetti
 
Preparation:

1. Add wine, water, scallions, olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, onion flakes, garlic, lemon zest, cornstarch, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, chicken bouillon, and hot pepper flakes to bowl.

2. Whisk well to combine.

3. Pour sauce in very large skillet and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Add chicken tenders and reduce heat to low.

4. Simmer 5 minutes, turn and cook another 6 minutes, or until chicken is firm.

5. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain.

6. Pour chicken and sauce over hot cooked spaghetti.

Boil Pasta in Cold Water
Always use cold water for boiling pasta water.

Use Enough Water
If you are not using enough water to cook your pasta, the water thickens and will cause the pasta not to cook evenly.
